Booking a Private Room

RESERVATIONS

We don't take table reservations here at Los Gringos but we have many options for you. You can call ahead and give us a heads up for a large group, but we can't guarantee any reserved seating. On the other hand though, you can book the private room or patio for your function. On this page you will find the a description of how it all works, the rate chart, a menu and answers to our most popular questions. With these steps, we make sure your event is memorable, seamless, and fun for everyone involved!

Your Group

When you have a group that wants to dine, please call the restaurant in advance to check to see if we can accommodate you. This also gives us a heads up you are on the way.

The Patio

You can book the patio and have a lovely taco outside. There is a predetermined menu and a minimum hourly charge. Read below for more information.

The Back Room

The back room does offer privacy for your group. Same as the patio reservations, there is a set menu and a minimum charge. Keep reading for more details

How Our Private Party Menus Work

Pick Your Five Entrées

From our list of the most popular and best-loved dishes, you’ll choose five entrées to feature on your custom menu.

When your guests arrive, they’ll pick one of the five entrées from your custom menu to enjoy, freshly made to order.

Designed for Efficiency and Flavor

Our menu items are chosen for their rave reviews and to ensure your guests enjoy fast, efficient service. We’ve pre-selected dishes that cover a variety of tastes and dietary needs and if you have a specific request? Let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Can I bring a PA system?

To maintain the comfort of all our guests, we don’t allow PA systems that could impact the dining room experience. 

Arriving early to decorate

  We know decorations add a special touch! However, our team needs time to complete the setup to ensure everything is perfect for your event. Minimal decorations are encouraged to leave enough space on the tables for food, chips, guacamole, and drinks. We'll communicate with you about the best time to decorate.

Minimum Spending Requirements

 Rates are determined by the date and time, and based on how typically busy we are at those times. For  private events, a minimum spending requirement ensures exclusive use of the space. If your food and drink order doesn’t meet the minimum, an additional charge will apply to meet the minimum for the reservation. Our team will help you craft a menu that fits both your budget and your vision.

Service during the event 

Our servers will take orders just like regular dine-in service, and our famous Tableside Guacamole will be made for your party, ensuring each guest enjoys their meal prepared fresh. This format keeps the event organized and lets everyone savor our dishes at their best.

Can we have a buffet?

We don't offer buffets to maintain the quality and freshness of our food. Instead, our team works with you to create a customized menu served to your guests, ensuring a delicious and seamless dining experience.

Delaying food order at event

To ensure your guests have plenty of time to enjoy their meal, we recommend placing food orders early in the event. This allows our kitchen to serve everything in a timely manner so no one feels rushed. When extra time is needed or special timing needed, we’ll accommodate you as best we can. 

Extra Guests

If your party size changes, be sure to let us know as soon as possible.  We can generally accommodate late additions. 

 

Payment

Your reservation will be confirmed by providing a credit card to hold the event.   We won’t charge anything on the card to hold your reservation and we can use this card or a different card/method of payment to pay for the event at the end of your party. 

Cancellation

If for some reason you need to cancel – we would appreciate as much notice as possible.

Step 1 

Determine whether you would like the patio or the private room. The patio can handle larger groups, also has privacy but temperatures can fluctuate. The Private Room can be more comfortable temperature wise, depending on the season. Click on the 360 tour to see each of the rooms.

Rate Chart

To book either the patio or the private room, there's a minimum charge. The food and drinks ordered by your group count toward that total. Rates are determined by the time of day and how busy we are at those times. Rates on the chart are per hour and there is a minimum booking of two hours.

How the Rate Chart Works

The minimum charge helps us stay in business. Reserving an area means we forgo serving other guests at those tables during your reservation. It ensures staff are paid, and the restaurant stays profitable.

This is why minimum charges vary based on the day and time of your event.

The minimum requires spending at least this amount per hour on food, drinks, and desserts. Tax and gratuity are extra.

Your event may easily meet the minimum based on your menu and party size. If not, you will still be charged the hourly minimum.

The minimum charge guarantees your room is private, with no other customers seated during your reservation.

*This is an hourly rate chart and there is a minimum two hour booking.

Look at the menu  and photos below to choose your appetizers / beverage service / dessert and your entrees. Choose five of the eight entrees. This menu design enables the kitchen to get your food out quickly to all of your guests so that everybody is happy.

Step 3 

Once you decide your menu choices, fill out the request form below and someone will contact you within 72 hours. Please note there may be other bookings on your chosen date or events already happening at the restaurant. We will always do the best we can to make it work.
